Shayla has been in the Pet Care  industry for over 17 years, founding many businesses, and teaching hundreds of students Globally to become world leading Pet Stylists.

Shayla is the current Australian Champion Stylist winning the Groom Quest Grand Tasmin Grooming Championships  in 2019. 

Shayla has been chosen to represent Australia at the World Grooming Championships Specializing in Terriers.

Chris

Co Founder, Managing Director & Award winning Entrepreneur 


Chris is our main man! He is our outstanding leader in customer service, teaching us all he knows. Chris has been in customer service and sales for 13years, making him the perfect mentor for the rest of our team. Chris goes above and beyond doing pick ups and drop offs when needed to accommodate our canine family. Chris is a man of many talents, from keeping our staff happy with his iconic dad jokes as well as making sure they have everything they need, assisting with grooms, bathing, prepping dogs, reception, retail and much much more.

 

Natasha 

Team Leader & Regional Manager 

Natasha is a Golden Retriever Lover! 

She loves all animals big, small, domestic or wild! Natasha is studying grooming, Canine Myofunctional Therapy, Canine Nutrition and Animal Enrichment.


Diane 

Receptionist / Admin

Diane has worked in pet retail for many years working at some of the largest corporate stores across the country, she now enjoys working in our boutique salons building close relationships with the dogs and their pawrents. Diane has a German Shepherd called Erma and spends her spare time dog training, adventuring and doing nose work with the working dogs.

If your really lucky you will see Diane & Erma walking around the coast with the German Shepherd Pack which is an amazing sight to see.

Min 

Stylist, Asian Fusion Specialist & Poodle Enthusiast 

Min started with us in the bathing room at the age of 16. Min is extremely gifted and has a natural talent with styling. She is a perfectionist and has advanced to our standards in a short amount of time producing world class styling. Min is our youngest head stylist. Her passion for poodles is unrivalled with her two very own fur babies Junji and Foo Foo

Belinda is one of our first employees at Stylist Canine. She knows how its done and gets straight into it with no hesitation.

Belinda has a soft spot for all the old and rescue dogs and of course EVERY dachshund, chihuahua, anything with double coat… OK just every dog! Belinda is devoted to all animals and contributes her time to animal rescue facilities, donating items when needed. Belinda also has a passion for grooming cats as she continues her study with the fury felines.



Abbi 

Advanced Bather Double Coat Specialist


Abbi is a Certified Advanced Bather, with impeccable prep work for each stylist. She is stepping out of the bathing room since she is gifted with the double coated breeds, as she has experience with her own Pomeranian called Hank. She is a professional canine tooth cleaner and has a particular interest in learning to bath the felines.

Georgie 

Stylist Teddy bear Specialist 

Georgie is a caring groomer, she spends her day cuddling, kissing and talking to all the puppies. Georgie has completed her Advanced Bathing Certification with us and is now studying Pet Grooming & Styling. Georgie Loves all dogs, she has a love for Golden Retrievers, Labradors, and loves styling any breed with a curly coat. But she does have a soft spot for cocker spaniels as she has an old boy of her own, Rusty. 

Amy 

Stylist, Asian Fusion Specialist 


Amy has over 5 years experience in styling. Amy is an amazing Stylist, specializing in scissored breeds, like Poodles and Ooodles. She has an exceptional eye for detail, and has the ability to make any pooch look younger

Erika 

Stylist, Terrier Specialist, Hand Stripping Specialist 

Erika is an award winning terrier specialist, she has a passion and a love for all cheeky terriers, owning a West Highland White Terrier herself called Locki. Erika is an excellent team player and is always willing to share her knowledge with the younger Stylists. Amongst all of this she is also studding a Diploma in Myo Functional Therapy!

Kadence 

Junior Bather & Co Designer for Kadie & Co Pet Wear 

Kadence has been working  around dogs and in the grooming salon since she was born, being a second generation groomer and Shayla's daughter  Kadence, has big shoes to fill. 


 

Ruby 

Junior Stylist 

Ruby is our one of our youngest Employees, After Completing her 4 Week Professional Groomers Course with Groomers Academy QLD, Ruby was excited to join our team as a casual Junior Groomer, Ruby's talent is Astonishing for such a young lady and she will be competing at her very first grooming competition October 2022


Belinda
